Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active PT License in the state Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Pediatric experience Inpatient experience Description: Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist Assignment Length - 13 Weeks Shift: 5x8 Days First Timers Accepted: Yes - with 2 Years of Experience Weekend Requirement: Some weekends required - approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month This position will cover both inpatient and outpatient pediatric populations. Must have experience with pediatric patients. Interdisciplinary support available. Daily census and number of visits per day will vary. Special procedures applicable to pediatric patients. Must possess skills in assessment, discharge planning, and individualized programs. Additional skills may include the use of adaptive equipment and various therapeutic techniques. This position requires flexibility to meet the needs of the facility. Time off requests will be approved on an individual basis upon offer. All time off must be included in submissions. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. References and specific charting experience are required. Please ensure housing options are explored, as options may be limited. Modules of training may be required pre-start and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported.
